Crafted under the direction of the Italian Maraschin brothers at the Artecasa factory in Johannesburg, it reflects the height of their mid-century production, where Italian design language met exceptional South African craftsmanship.
Grand in proportion and sculptural in execution, the design balances elegance with engineering. Its bold, cylindrical legs extend outward with confidence, anchored by an immensely supportive cross-beam that reinforces the structure and enhances its visual impact. The stance is powerful, grounded, and unmistakably authoritative.
At its core lies one of its most impressive features: double inner extendable leaves. These are seamlessly integrated within the table and can be used individually for a subtle extension, or together to create a dramatically larger surface suited to generous gatherings. The flexibility allows it to transition effortlessly from intimate dinners to expansive entertaining, without compromising its sculptural form.
