Vintage Wooden Shoemaker’s Lasts — Sold Separately

A beautifully curated selection of authentic vintage shoemaking moulds (lasts), each with its own character, wear, and history. These solid wooden forms were once essential tools in traditional cobbler workshops, used from the early to mid-20th century to shape, stitch, and construct shoes by hand. Their patina, tool marks, and stamped numbers tell the story of decades of craftsmanship and utility.

Available Individually:

  • Men’s Shoe Last — A robust, full-bodied form with classic proportions and a rich, honeyed patina. Dimensions: 30cm W X 12cm D X 8cm H
  • Ladies’ High-Heel Last — Sculpted with an elegant arch and tapered toe, showcasing the distinctive rise used for shaping heeled footwear. No actual heal. Dimensions: 23cm W X 7cm D X 13cm H
  • Pair of Children’s Shoe Lasts — A charming miniature duo with lovely symmetry and softened edges from years of use. Dimensions: 22cm W X 7cm D X 6.5cm H

Background:
Before modern mass production, cobblers relied on these wooden lasts to build shoes to exact measurements. Each last represented a specific foot size and shape, and was used repeatedly in the crafting and repair process — forming uppers, setting heels, and ensuring a perfect fit.

Beyond their industrial origins, shoemaker’s lasts have become highly decorative collectibles. They work beautifully as:

  • Sculptural accents on shelves or coffee tables
  • Bookends or paperweights
  • Retail display props
  • Conversation pieces in studios or workshops
  • Even quirky doorstops, thanks to their solid weight and sturdy construction

Full of charm and history, each last brings a warm, tactile sense of craftsmanship into the home — a perfect blend of function, nostalgia, and design.

In good as-is cleaned condition — sturdy and well-maintained, showing gentle signs of age consistent with vintage pieces.
