A beautifully restored Mid-Century dining set in Kiaat, seating six. While unmarked, the design recalls the refined style of DS Vorster, with its clean lines, warm wood tones, and timeless proportions.
The Chairs
Each chair features a gently curved seat front and backrest for both comfort and sculptural appeal. The frames have been fully restored and sealed to highlight the rich grain of the Kiaat. Newly upholstered in a Hertex citrine-mustard soft-touch fabric, the seats and backrests offer a luxurious yet durable finish. Brass detailing on the joints subtly accentuates the craftsmanship.
The Table
The round Kiaat table rests on a sturdy four-prong pedestal base, providing both stability and legroom. Its generous proportions make it ideal for intimate dining while maintaining a sense of openness and flow in the room. The wood has been carefully restored and sealed, preserving both its natural beauty and longevity.
Condition:
Recently refurbished, this set is in superb vintage condition, ready to enhance contemporary or classic interiors with its understated elegance and functional design. Here and there, very minor signs indicate its vintage age.
