This striking pair of upcycled candle holders appears to be crafted from repurposed artillery shell casings, a practice commonly associated with trench art or post-war craft. Made from solid brass or a similar alloy, each piece is heavy and robust, with a flared base and tulip-like crown, suggesting both practical ingenuity and decorative flair.

The design allows for dual functionality: one end holds taper candles (as shown), while the flared base can serve as a small vase or holder for minimalist floral arrangements. A central embossed band adds a textured, artisanal touch.

Condition:

Good vintage condition with signs of age-related patina and surface marks consistent with their military origins, enhancing their character and authenticity. Trench-art-inspired conversion pieces are increasingly collectable.

Dimensions:

6cm Diameter X 21.5cm H
