In some photos a low coffee table is featured for reference purposes, but the items are available for purchase on their own

This mid-century low-media cabinet features a clean, sleek design, with sliding doors that have sunken handles for easy access. The left compartment is perfect for storing wine bottles and barware, while the right side offers open space ideal for organizing media items such as magazines, books, and candles.

The cabinet has been carefully restored and sealed, ensuring that it is in very good restored condition for continued use. A few very minor signs of wear consistent with age and use.

Although the coffee table can be used separately, traditionally it seems it was used as a unit, with one placed on top of the other.

120cm W X 43cm D X 43,5cm H

The coffee table featured in the photos is sold here. (link not working)

Note: If you’re based outside Gauteng, please note that you can still make your purchase. Shipping will be arranged in the interim for delivery in January 2025, while smaller items can be delivered sooner.

Note/Disclaimer:

Our images are part of each item’s description. While we refurbish pieces to best reflect their original state, please note that most items date from the 1950s-1970s, so signs of age or minor repair marks may still be visible. We highlight notable wear, so please review photos or view them in-store before purchasing.

As with most Mid-Century pieces and a hallmark of the era, it is a combination of solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer. Veneer has a rich history in furniture design, is admired for its craftsmanship, durability, and aesthetic appeal and is a long and honorable tradition. The quality of the veneer's artistry was long-lasting; for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished.
