An elegant Mid-Century dressing table that was produced locally during the 60's. Note the repeating triangular design and repetitive angles in every aspect including the legs and mirror, The contrasting wood tones add interest and enhance the shape. Ample storage is provided in 3 drawers with sunken handles. An additional little holder was added at the bottom, which we opted to keep as is as it does provide additional storage. (Excluding stool). The stool is available to buy here
The wood has been restored and sealed and the piece is in overall good vintage condition. Please note there is a slight dip towards the center of the dresser, but this is also accentuated with the design and the two side panels on the sides of the mirror. Structural integrity in-tact.

As with most Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer. The quality, old veneer was long-lasting and for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the workmanship, condition and thickness of the veneer itself.
