Paragon in London in the late 1950s designed and made the mid-century modern teak-faced bent plywood and beech breakfast tray known as the “centurion.” Teak folding tray table with sprung folding legs made by Edward Doherty & Sons, London
This piece won the Good Housekeeping Design Award in 1957. It can be used with the legs extended or as a normal tray if folded.
Perfect to use for breakfast in bed, serving purposes, raised serving or as a laptop work tray. The tray is marked and it's in great original vintage condition, with a slight repair on the one curved side.
