”Davidson Glass was founded by George Davidson in 1867.
George Davidson built a glass factory in Team Valley, Gateshead in the North East of England. Initially for the production of oil lamp chimneys, they then went on to make a wide range of pressed glass table ware, including pearline glass and cloud glass. Davidson Glass exported their glass to Australia and New Zealand, cloud glass was exported in great quantities.
Davidson's glass works finally closed in 1987”.

This piece is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, scratches, or cracks – only slight signs of wear consistent with age and use.
