A great set of six vintage, Mahogany dining chairs. Straight lines with just the right amount of detail ensure these chairs will fit in with many design styles or homes.
The wooden frames have a classic contemporary feel that will not date featuring a beautiful wood grain. The seats and backrests of the chairs have been upholstered in a dark grey/ charcoal Hertex fabric that is easy to clean with a 100000 rub count for durability.
The wooden frames have been stripped of their old varnish and stains, sanded, repaired where needed, and sealed with a suitable sealant. Overall, in a really great restored condition, with minor signs of their vintage condition.
The price is for the set of six chairs (each chair, fully restored and upholstered costing R1920 each).

As with most Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the veneer's artistry, condition, and thickness the quality of the old veneer was long-lasting; for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished.

Shipment outside Gauteng is not calculated at check-out. When purchasing an item and you are based in either Cape Town, Durban, or outside Gauteng, select 'LOCAL PICK-UP' at check-out (DO NOT SELECT A SHIPMENT OPTION). Delivery to these areas is quoted based on the dimensions of the item/s bought.
