kiaat-headboard-attached-pedestals
Kiaat Headboard & Attached Pedestals

A wonderfully proportioned Kiaat headboard with attached pedestals, featuring clean lines and distinctive elongated curved drawer handles that add an elegant detail to its mid-century design.

The headboard appears to have originally been made for a smaller double bed. To make it more practical for contemporary use, we have repositioned the pedestals slightly further apart, creating a small overlap on either side of the central headboard panel. This allows the piece to comfortably accommodate a queen-size bed while retaining its original proportions and overall design.

The pedestals can also be moved back to their original position should the headboard be used with a double bed. The slight overlap when configured for a queen is subtle and does not detract from the design, but makes this vintage piece far better suited to the bed sizes commonly used in homes today.

Condition:

Good, repaired and restored condition.
