A beautifully proportioned mid-century coffee table attributed to Lubis furniture crafted in Kiaat with the warm, organic tone for which the maker is known. Though modest in size, the table has a striking presence, thanks to its clean geometry and the subtle sculpting found in the chamfered top frame. The squared legs flow into two horizontal stretchers on each side, a detail strongly associated with designs of the 1960s–70s.
Recently stripped, restored, and sealed, the timber shows a rich, even surface with a softly lustrous finish that highlights the movement of the grain. Its compact footprint makes it incredibly versatile, perfect for smaller lounges, apartment living, reading corners, or as a layered accent within a larger seating arrangement.
