A great Kiaat Retro headboard with attached pedestals to fit a queen-size mattress. The simplistic design lines will elevate any space and fit with most design styles. The pedestals feature a pull-out tray each just above the drawer each. Great as additional storage i.e. your phone, book, etc.
The wood had damage, but we have restored and repaired it as best as we possibly could. The item is in overall good vintage condition with a few marks here and there and signs showing it's vintage age.

As with most Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer. The quality, old veneer was long-lasting and for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the workmanship, condition and thickness of the veneer itself.
