A delightful mid-century Lucia Ware ceramic sausage dog, finished in the classic glossy glaze that collectors love. Playful and characterful, this little dachshund features hand-painted details and a hollow body, making it ideal as a small planter, desk catch-all, or simply a cheerful decorative accent.
Lucia Ware was a brand of South African pottery produced by Boksburg East Pottery from the 1940s to the 1970s and is highly collectible for its playful, mid-century modern designs.
A lovely South African studio-ceramic piece that adds instant charm to any shelf or vignette.
Condition:
Beautiful condition for its age with a smooth, even glaze and no noticeable chips or cracks.
