Beautifully made and elegant 'G-Plan' dining chairs from their "Fresco" range were designed by Leslie Dandy during the 1960s. The solid afromosia Teak frames are sturdy and provide ultimate comfort with their sleek curved backrest and wide seat.
Perfect addition to an existing dining table of the same wood or similar wood tone.
The wooden frames have been, stripped, sanded, restored and sealed and it is in great vintage condition. Upholstery has been done in a new fabric from Hertex fabrics with a 100 000 rub count for durability and comfort.

The company was founded in High Wycombe in 1898 by Ebeneezer Gomme at first making hand-made chairs, and built a factory at Leigh Street in 1909. Donald Gomme who was the designer at E Gomme decided to produce a range of modern furniture for the entire house which could be bought piece-by-piece. Since advertising was a major part of the plan, the name was coined by Doris Gundry of the J. Walter Thompson advertising agency, and the furniture was advertised in magazines and in cinemas direct to the public. Designs were available for several years so people could collect them slowly. All furniture was marked with a distinctive brand mark.
