From the 1920s to the 1960s, Greaves & Thomas experienced remarkable success with their furniture.
During the 60's, their Model 3704 pull-out sofa/couch bed, emerged as their top-selling furniture piece during this era. To this date, it is a sought-after piece and will stay relevant for years to come. Notice the flowing frame and dipped armrests.
The couch can be used as a couch as well as occasional sleeping space, especially for children. Freshly re-upholstered in almost a sea blue/green textured fabric with new foam and buttoning detail in keeping with the period. This couch will be perfect in most interior settings.
The wood has undergone a complete restoration process and is in excellent condition. We're uncertain about the purpose of the wooden leg surrounds. Research indicates that some of these had additional leg surrounds, while others did not. Nevertheless, since they are securely attached and structurally sound, we opted to leave them as they are.
